Into Abyss Yards

$2,200.00

Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Dimensions: 65” x 36”
Frame: Frame options available
Materials: All archival, professional-grade materials

Into the Abyss Yard draws from memories of the Pacific Northwest, fog-drenched forests, rainy hikes, and cold mornings spent searching for meaning in the wilderness. It evokes the quiet persistence of talking to yourself in the rain and a time marked by a desire to break free from the familiar, to chase something undefined, to discover new ways of being.

This painting plays with the atmosphere of outdoor spaces where curious objects lie buried beneath layers of moss and time. It becomes a metaphorical landscape, abstract and deeply internal. Forms drift in and out of clarity, shapes emerge like fragments of forgotten projects, it’s clearly hinting at stories left untold. Both a personal recollection and a broader meditation on the creative process, Into the Abyss Yard invites viewers to explore the subtle tension between searching and stillness. It is a layered reflection on memory, presence, and the beauty in what nearly disappears.

Shipping

Smaller paintings are Professionally wrapped and shipped with USPS priority, this is only available for Colorado and local shipping to Denver area.

Larger paintings have to be removed from stretcher bars, canvas will be rolled up in protective material and put in a quality tube for shipping. This is the only cost-effective way to ship large scale work. A local frame shop can easily reinstall the canvas back on to stretcher bars.
